In case you have any available balance in your Seedrs Investment Account, such a refund from a cancelled investment, you can request to send it back to you. If you'd like to submit a request, you can do so by pressing the 'Withdraw' button next to the balance of your account at the top of the same page.

Click on that and you will then be taken to the withdrawal checkout and follow the onscreen instructions accordingly. The checkout consists of the steps below:

Step 1 - Set the amount you wish to withdraw.

Step 2 - A breakdown of how you will receive your money will be displayed. The funds will be returned via the last payment method you used and, if not applicable, to the account you designate on the third step

Step 3 - Insert the bank account details to where the funds should go in case we are unable to send the funds back to your card/account.

We will then process the withdrawal as soon as possible once requested. Please note, that It can take up to 10 working days to reach your account, and funds will be returned via the last method used to make a deposit/ transfer.

Please bear in mind that although your Seedrs Investment Account will display the funds immediately as unavailable, it may take up to 10 days for the funds to reach your bank account

For funds that are being returned via bank transfer, we use our payment provider Currency Cloud. Please keep a look out for Currency Cloud or Seedrs on your bank statement when expecting these funds.

What happens if I convert my funds before withdrawing them?

If you request a currency conversion of your funds to GBP/EUR before withdrawing them, this may increase the time it takes to send the funds back to you.

When you request the conversion of your funds, you can see the converted funds immediately displayed as available in your Seedrs Investment Account balance. However, it may take up to 5 working days for the conversion to be completed in our client money accounts through Currency Cloud, therefore extending the time to process the return of your funds.
